Michael Lee Ball
Apr 17, 2018He was born April 29, 1950, at Indianapolis, to the late William and Mary June (Maine) Ball. On Jan. 1, 1971, he married Janet Gail (Young) Ball in Ladoga. She survives. Mike graduated from Roachdale High School class of 1968. He was a journeyman pipefitter for the Local #440 for 35 years. Mike and his wife were parishioners of St. Jude Catholic Church, Indianapolis, and were members of the Roachdale Optimist Club. He was a big fan of NASCAR and loved to go to races with his friends. He also enjoyed building, motorcycles, coaching his boys in Little League, and was always eager to help a friend in need.He is survived by his wife, Janet Ball; two children, Michael (Mary) Ball, Indianapolis, and Timothy (Angelina) Ball, Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren, Hadyn, Luci, Isabella, Landon, Maddox, Daniel and Kaylee; and brother William Ball, PineTop, Arizona.He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Timothy, Pat and Fred.A Mass of Resurrection will be at noon Wednesday, April 18, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5353 McFarland Road, Indianapolis, with the Rev. Stephen Banet officiating. There will be a brief time of visitation from 11:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at the church. Friends are welcome to visit with the family 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale. Burial will follow in Roachdale Cemetery.
